When travelling to Peru it is helpful to known the following:

Nuevo Sol (PEN) is divided into 100 centimos and is available in coin and note form. Coins are available in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 centimos and 1, 2 and 5 nuevos soles. Bank notes are available in 10, 20, 50 , 100 and 200 nuevos soles.

Travel Visa Information
A valid passport with at least 6 months left on your passport combined with an onward bound ticket. A visa is only required if you are travelling to Peru on business.
