Floreana Island, Galapagos
The island of Floreana is well known for its variety of wildlife and for its history as a popular stopping and postal point for whalers.

The island contains the small town of Puerto Velasco Ibarra which can offer lodging to those who wish to stay and was named after Juan Jose Flores who was the first president of Ecuador.
