Santiago Marathon
Within the superb city setting, the Santiago Marathon offers national and international competitors an excellent test of endurance with events including the full and half marathon as well as a shorter but never the less testing 10 kilometer event.

The 42.195 kilometer track allows competitors to take in many areas of the city such as Palacio de la Moneda where the event starts and finishes, Parque O'Higgins, the vast Parque Intercomunal de la Reina and around the base of one of Santiago's landmark hills, San Cristobal.

Santiago also offers a 21 kilometer half marathon and a shorter 10 kilometer race for those not wishing to participate in the full marathon, opening up the whole day to a wide range of professional and amateur runners. There is plenty of support from spectators especially around the start and finish along Alameda Bernardo O'Higgins.

Santiago Marathon Date
The annual event takes place in April each year.

The marathon takes place in the energetic city of Santiago in the Santiago Metropolitan Region.
