Monastery of Saint Benedict, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
The Monastery of St Benedict or Sao Bento Monastery is a working monastery and holds daily activities such as daily Mass with Gregorian chant.

The monastery was built around 1617 and contains wonderful architecture and interior decorations as well as painting's and views of Guanbara Bay. Along side the monastery there is also the College of St. Benedict which was founded in 1858.
