Sydney Olympic Park, Australia
Sydney Olympic Park played host to the 2000 Olympic Games and is one of the most impressive sporting and social venues in Sydney.

There are many separate venues within the park which cater for various different sporting disciplines, The Stadium Australia which is currently called the ANZ Stadium has the greatest capacity for 83,500 spectators.

Other arenas include The Sydney Superdrome which is now called the Acer Arena and is often used for concerts, basketball and wrestling. The Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, Sydney International Aquatic Centre, Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre, Sydney Olympic Park Hockey Centre, Sydney Olympic Park Archery Centre and Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre. Other sporting areas within the park are the Golf Centre, Mountain Biking Park and Skate Park.

Within Sydney Olympic Park you can also enjoy attractions such as the Hall of Champions which displays many sporting photographs, medals, trophies and other Olympic memorabilia and sporting achievements and there is also the Armory Gallery which is a large art exhibition space, a gift shop, florist, beauty salon, cafes, cycle hire, restaurants and bars.

Bicentennial Park offers many acres of parkland which offer some wonderful picnic areas, walking paths and cycle tracks.

Guided tours
One way to explore the park is with a self guided audio tour around the complex where you can take in areas such as the Aquatic Centre and the Observation Deck whilst taking as long as you like at each of the different venues.
