Blue Mountains, Sydney Australia
The Blue Mountains are a UNESCO World Heritage Area of natural beauty and contain not only a wealth of natural beauty, flora and fauna but also landmarks such as the Three Sisters and the famous lookout known as Govett's Leap.

The mountains offers superb scenic views, walks and bicycle trails along varied terrain as well as plenty of wildlife and attractions.

There are several towns that make up the Blue Mountains such as Oberon, Wentworth Falls, Hartley, Katoomba, Blackheath and Leura, which contain there own unique attractions;

Safety
There are many wonderful walks at Govett's Leap, The Thousand Steps, National Pass and many other areas of the Blue Mountains, if you do decide to go on a walk, notify someone where you are going and when you plan to be back also take a phone and a personal locator as the Blue Mountains are a vast area and very easy to lose your way.
