Villa Vizcaya, Miami
The magnificent Villa Vizcaya stands at the waters edge and was originally the summer home of James Deering, the Villa is now owned by Miami Dade County and is one of the most visited historic buildings in Miami.

As you wander around the house you will delight in the fine examples of furniture, paintings, architecture and interior design of the Villa especially whilst visiting the stunning library, the music room with its harp and harpsichord and banquet hall.

The gardens comprise of a formal garden and jungle forest with scenic paths that lead you around this well landscaped garden which is filled with many statues, pools, flowers, fountains and an impressive hedge maze the garden also offers stunning views of Biscayne Bay from the waters edge as well.

There is a cafe beautifully located within Vizcaya where you can relax after your visit and also a gift shop where you can purchase some gifts or souvenirs.
