North Miami
North Miami is well known for its beach which runs from Bal Harbour all the way to Hollywood Beach and although not as well known as South Beach is equally as nice with plenty of restaurants and shopping locations to keep you entertained.

Oleta River State Park
North Miami is also home to the Oleta State Park which is the largest Urban Park in Florida and contains many bicycle trails that range from easy to more advanced and hiking trails. There are plenty of Mangrove forest preserves and several areas where you can view wildlife such as dolphins and manatees.

The Blue Moon Outdoor Center is within Oleta Park and can offer a range of equipment such as Kayaks, canoes and bicycles as well as beach chairs and barbecues which you can hire to take you on your own little adventure around the beautiful state park.

Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University
Within North Miami you will also discover the Biscayne Bay Campus of Florida International University which is one of the largest universities in the nation.

Arch Creek Park
Arch Creek Park is also of interest as it contains a limestone bridge from where the name Arch Creek comes from as well as plenty of opportunities to discover some artefacts from the museum within the park and the various flora and fauna that can be found within the park itself.

Museum Of Contemporary Art
The museum has a wide collection of art and regularly holds events such as workshops that allow you to get a real hands on opportunity to learn more about Contemporary art.
