Kampong, Miami
The magnificent tropical garden at Kampong was named and developed by Dr. David Fairchild the renowned horticulturist who introduced many species of trees and plants such as the Ficus Tree, into the garden from his many travels around the world, Kampong is now registered as a Historic Place.

The garden offers many winding paths that lead to many interesting varieties of tropical fruit and flowering trees as well as several ponds and some wonderfully positioned benches that look out onto Biscayne Bay.

You can explore the garden at your own pace or you can take the opportunity to have a guided tour of the garden. For up to date opening times, dates and availability of tours you should call the Kampong directly.
