Independence Day • Miami
Fourth of July celebrations in Miami are superb and what you would expect from a city of this stature, with no shortage of venues, entertainment and fireworks available for this historic day.

Independence Day is a Federal Holiday that commemorates the Declaration of Independence that took place in 1776 and is widely celebrated not only in Miami but throughout the whole of the United States.

There are often street parades with a carnival theme, plenty of live music and entertainment with a variety of musical genres on offer at various locations that often culminate with a spectacular fireworks display in the evening with many buildings also lit up and decorated with the colours of the American flag.

Many of Miami's main parks have events taking place, such as at Bayfront Park which is close to the American Airlines Arena and is beautifully positioned on the waters edge and Peacock Park which is within the classic Coconut Grove District. Another popular location is of course Miami Beach where parties seem to go on through the night.

Date Of Independence Day
Independence Day takes place annually on the 4th of July.

Celebrations take place throughout Miami but are often particularly impressive at Bayfront Park in Downtown, Peacock Park in Coconut Grove and on Miami Beach.
