Art Deco Historic District, Miami
The Art Deco district is filled with some wonderfully colorful, historic Art Deco buildings which were built between the 1920's and 1940's leaving this totally unique architectural district that is now on the National Register of Historic Places.

Art Deco Miami
The Art Deco Society is called the Miami Design Preservation League and was first founded by Barbara Capitman in 1976 which continues to promote, protect and preserve historic buildings.

Art Deco Festival
Every year in January there is the hugely popular Art Deco Festival where you can look at and buy various art deco items and as well as learning a little more about the style and design of art deco and enjoy all the music and fun that goes along with any festival.

There are guided tours of the Art Deco District available and for more information on available times contact the Art Deco Welcome Center who can give you all the relevant details. As well as guided tours there is also the opportunity to do your own self guided tour, which are available for you to do at your own pace on foot or on a bicycle.
