Magic Fountain Of Montjuic
This impressive fountain is amongst one of the most popular landmarks in the city which puts on delightful performances of light and music during the course of the year.

The fountain was designed by Catalan architect Carles Buigas i Sans for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition and continues to entertain audiences with its water acrobatics that are beautifully lit up often with different colours and accompanied by a variety of music from classical to modern.

The fountain is sited in front of the National Palace which contains the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya and whose facade is also often lit up at night proving an even more striking backdrop to the Magic Fountain.

The fountain is located in front of the National Palace which is the home of the National Art Museum Of Catalonia MNAC, near to the Placa d'Espanya on Montjuic Hill.
