Kampa Island, Prague, Czech Republic
Kampa Island has many lovely gardens, set within a large park that offers many open areas with plenty of space to unwind, relax or take a gentle walk along following the edge of the river.

There are many lovely houses positioned on Kampa Island which are built on the waters edge and in the same style that you would see in Venice, and is often nicknamed 'Prague Venice'.

Kampa Island has a branch of the Vltava River called the Devil's Stream running to the west of the Island. The Devils Stream was an important part of the Island for the functioning of the various mill's that used to function on the Island.

The Kampa Museum is located in one of the former converted mill's and has a good selection of modern art and sculptures. The museum is positioned roughly 450 meters from Charles Bridge and has its own gift shop, there is also the opportunity to book to have a tour of the museum.

Facilities
There are plenty of shops and restaurants on Kampa Island and paths that will lead you around the park with lovely views of the river.

Situated next to Charles Bridge on the west side of the river Vltava next to Lesser Town.
