Jantar Mantar Observatory
The impressive collection of large astronomical observation instruments were constructed by Maharajah Jai Singh II in around 1727 and is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

There are several structures and devices that make up this superb collection and many of them are made out of stone and marble and can measure time, predict the coming of an eclipse and track the movement of stars and constellations.

The observatories instruments are well known not only for there shear size but also for their accuracy, the Sundial in particular is a very popular instrument that can very accurately tell the time today and stands at 27 meters in height.
