Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour
This hugely popular event attracts both local and international cyclists and offers plenty of action for many age groups and abilities over the course of the Lifecycle event.

The Lifecycle Event features the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour which covers a distance of about 110 kilometers starting off near the V&A Waterfront and taking in many of Cape Towns most scenic areas travelling past locations such as Fish Hoek, Simon's Town, Millers Point, Smitswinkel Bay past Scarborough, before heading inland to Noordhoek and then on past Hout Bay, Camps Bay and Sea Point before finishing close to Green Point and the V&A Waterfront.

The Cape Argus Lifecycle Exposition is often held at the Good Hope Centre and takes place during the week before the main race with hundreds of exhibits and displays on everything from fitness and well being to the latest cycles and equipment.

Other events to feature during the Lifecycle Event include the Tricycle and Junior Tour which is open to 2 to 6 year old's and covers around 1.5 kilometers, there is also the tough Grape Escape event which lasts for three days and covers a challenging 200 kilometers of tough terrain that puts the very toughest mountain bikers to the test.

This popular event takes place annually often towards the beginning of March and lasts for about one week.

The Cape Argos Lifecycle Exposition often takes place at the Good Hope Centre.
