City Hall, Cape Town, South Africa
The City Hall in Cape Town was built in 1905 and located in Darling street and has the superb backdrop of Table Top Mountain. The building has a Italian Renaissance style with a wonderfully decorated facade and contains features such as a marble staircase, mosaic floor, stained glass windows and an impressive clock tower.

The City Hall is well known historically as it was from here that Nelson Mandela gave his legendary speech hours after being released from captivity.

The City Hall is now the location of the City Library and Concert Hall. The square in front of the hall is called the Grand Parade and features a market there twice a week.
