Travel Visas
To enter Egypt you will need a Visa and valid passport which should have a minimum of 6 months still left on it. If you haven't arranged a visa in advance then one can obtained at the airport by correctly filling out the immigration forms plus a small payment and it will be processed for you while you are there.

There are two types of Visa one is a tourist visa and the other is an entry visa for people who wish to study or work in Egypt. Once you have obtained your visa you can then proceed to have your passport stamped by immigration and you are then ready to explore all that Egypt has to offer.

Currency Information
The Egyptian Pound (EGP) is available in note and coin form and is divided into 100 Qirush or 1000 Milliemes. Coins are available in 5,10, 20, 25 and 50 Piastres and 1 pound. Notes are available in 5, 10, 25 and 50 Piastres and 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 Pounds.
