Coptic Museum, Cairo, Egypt
The Coptic Museum was founded in 1910 by Marcus Simaika Pasha in order to house and protect many beautiful items of Coptic Art which the museum contains a large collection of.

Coptic Art which is the term used for Egyptian art produced in the early Christian era or by Egyptian Christians themselves. There are many fine examples of Coptic art within the museum such as wall paintings, textiles, wood reliefs, pottery, stonework, metalwork, glass, icons and manuscripts on display.
